Description

[so I got another page done on the book, Schatt wanted to see what Kate was up to Six months later. a lot, lemme tell ya. but don't take my word for it, lets hear what Kate has to say...]

Kate's Log:

it has been, over six months sense Brady and I entered the Arbiter's Temple and I got the Mantel of the Arbitress bestowed upon me.

ever sense then, things have been cosmically different. I see things that I have never seen before, and strength that I never knew that I could poses. but the most powerful thing that I have been recently been experiencing was, the dark influence.

there was something pushing in my mind, to do dark and evil things. it was partially like the force that was pushing at me after that encounter with that monster... but more so.

I felt as the darkness itself was trying to consume me with all its force.

but Brady told me as we journeyed across Smangladore, I had to suppress these emotions to control these powers.

as for our journey, we traveled all over, different environments all over. we traversed the dense jungle, the flaming deserts, the frigid tundra and snow capped mountains, all the way through the mucked marshes.

and through each area, we encountered a special shrine, dedicated to these great beings known as the "Primal Ultimates" each possessed a power to govern a different field.

such as Ramdozer, guardian of power, and Lockjaw, Guardian of freedom.

Brady also introduced me to the power of controlling the elements, in the Arbiter's temple, there were shards of elemental relics that could fit into our gauntlets, they came in many colors and shapes.

such as the power to influence earth, and plant life, but not to its fullest potential because they were only partial relics.

there were different Saurians all over where we traveled. all different kinds suited for different climates.
such as the rugged Tricerasaurians on the borders of the great sea of Sand, and the Mountains of Steadfast.
along with the plesiasaurians next to the Vast Sapphire Sea. we were their to assist them in village and city needs to help me practice my Arbitress skills. they were all grateful. it was a surprise, doing things for others without reward, I felt a warmth I had not ever felt before.

they all seemed, from what I could tell, not as strong as they could be.
and after we visited the separate shrines, there seemed to be a great emptiness by them.
and when Brady would look at them, he looked discouraged.

finally, after six months of travel, we were on the border of the Land of poison and the land that the Saurians dwelt.
we set up camp after traveling for hours.

Brady started a fire. with the partial fire relic he possessed.
he whisped the fire through his fingers.

I looked up at his, as the flames cast a red and orange light across his partially covered face.

"Brady..." I asked

he looked up at me.
"you have something on your mind?" Brady asked, his blue eyes glistened in the light.

I paused, drawing a small picture in the sand.
"why are these people... well what I mean to say is-" I began

"why are they so weak, not at their full potential?" he finished for me.

"why... yes, you see it to?" I asked

he lightly laughed.
"that shows. that your sensory ability is developing, that is good." he siad

"but this people, why are they so weak?" I asked

Brady leaned back on a rock.
"have you noticed, as we entered the Ultimate's shrines, you felt a withdrawal of the light, and peace when you entered?" he asked

I nodded.

"Well, The Primal Ultiamtes have been sealed away." he said

I paused
"like... the way the Krazoa-" I began

Brady got a light look on his face.

"um... how they were sealed and stolen?" I asked

"not even close." he stated.

I paused

"Primal Ultimates cannot be sealed up in a jar like a magic specter. they are Deities beyond mortal comprehension. they were blotted out by another Ultimate... and the Devil." Brady said

I shuttered when he mentioned the Devil.
"wait... wasn't he sealed away? like in that book?" I asked

Brady looked at me.
"he was... and should have been still... but when I recently returned with you and the others, I came to find that the devil... had been awakened again."

I paused
"where is he?" I asked

he took a long silence.
I almost wanted to ask him again.

then he spoke.
"in us." he said

I looked at him.

"is that a jo-" I stopped myself.
I knew that wasn't a joke.

"so is that, influence, him?" I asked

Brady nodded.

I I grabbed my legs and pulled them to me, and wrapped my tail around them.
"I almost don't want this mantle any more." I said

Brady looked at me.
"Kate..." he said

I looked at him.

he smiled.
"if life were easy, we wouldn't need to be here." he said

I paused and looked into the fire.

there was a hooting cackle off in the distance.
past the full thick trees, were crackly somewhat dead ones.

Brady looked back.
"The Neff Hordes lie way deep past forlorn canyon. we won't be seeing them." Brady said

I set out my sleeping gear.

"then I asked him... then, how are they still as strong as they are now though? un like the dinosaurs from Sauria?" I asked

Brady looked at me.
"because they still believe." Brady said

I was quiet and set out the rest of it.

"well, we need to get a good rest, I have one more Shrine to check before we return to Tyrannous city." Brady said

he got comfortible on the rock.
"well... goodnight!" he said and closed his eyes.

I closed my eyes and fell to sleep.

***

I had a dream, a dream with pitch black, and a set of piercing red eyes. I could see him, with my waking eyes, and then in a moments flash, there was a swarm of thousands of blood stained teeth, mawed open, ready to devour me.

suddenly, I awoke so the sudden tremor in the ground.

Brady was awake then to.

I shot looks around.
"what was that!"! I asked

Brady laughed
"look behind you." he said

I looked past a bush to see a massive leg, attached to a massive gray body. I continued to look up it to see a tremendously long neck, it was taller than some of the buildings on Corneria.

Brady laughed
"say hello to a Sismontrosauruas." Brady said

I laughed sheepishly.
"H-hello." I said

Brady walked over to the great leg.
"c'mon, we need to climb." he said, gripping the leg like a rock climbing wall.

I looked bewildered.
"um... are you sure?" I said

"oh c'mon, these are so easy to climb." Brady said
I gulped and followed after him.

we scaled the massive beast for minutes. we finally got aloft on top of its oval shaped head with its crest.

Brady positioned himself on it so he could look into hits eye.
"thank you great one for allowing us to use you as a look out point." Brady said patting it.

the Sauropod moaned and chewed its leafy greens that it retrieved from trees that were almost taller than it was.

I looked around with him.
it was a great view.
Brady then gasped happily and patted me.
"Kate look over there," Brady said

I looked
there was a massive natural overhang that covered a dark, shadowed, burned out area in an oval shape,

"that is the last one, hurry, lets get over there quickly." Brady said,
he then slid down the back of the neck
I followed him reluctantly.

we got to the ground and began to quickly make our way to the burned out basin.

as we progressed closer to it, I noticed that the trees and life were getting smaller and more, withered as we drew closer to it.

we finally got to the clearing.
it was massive, and the overhang was not to far away, but it was truly large. hart to take in with one sweep of the eye.

under the overhang, was another shrine.
I felt an immense power when we got close to it.

"B... Brady? what Ultimate dose this shrine belong to?" I asked him.

Brady stood there, with a somewhat serious look on his face.
"one of the oldest and most powerful of all the primal Ultimates, lost for centuries and not heard from for millennial times... Vestendune, the Primal Ultimate of Death."

I shuttered at the name.

"V-Vestendune?" I whispered.

there was a light wind that blew across the lifeless ground.
it was hallow and eerie.

then, there was a powerful voice in the wind, but almost like a whisper.
"look,... look to the west... atop the giants." it said, the voice was deep and, cold.

I looked up.

"this... shrine is still active." Brady said

"Brady." I said

he turned and looked at me.
"yes Kate?" he asked

"where is another one of those Megasizeamasaurs or whatevers? I feel like we should, look around again." I said

Brady looked at me with a slight cock in his head.

"okay..." he said

there was along massive whale like bellow heard off close by.

a massive male Megasizemasaurus could be seen through the trees about a forth of a mile away.

"we can get to that one quick enough." Brady said

so brady boldet after it and I followed.
we began to climb its massive trunk of a leg as it swayed a little attempting to get leaves from a near by tree.

we got to the top.
we got a perfect view of the great fissure of desolation, that separated a good portion of the land of poison and the Smangladorian lands.

Brady looked out over by the fissure, then let out a gasp.

"Kate! look by the great fissure!" he said

I looked over, the blessing of the Arbitress allowed me to have zooming vision.

I could see, great hundreds of thousands of those vile Neff and Slerrg formatting a grand army. along with vile red eye beasts and..... machines.

"Brady..." I asked

"yes... I know, they are planning for an all at frontal assault." Brady said

he looked at where some scouts were trailing from.

they plan on hitting... The great city of Tyrannous!" Brady said

he looked at me.
"if that city falls, all the other civilizations will crumble. we must hurry and get back!" Brady said as he begna to climb down.

I looked at the massive army. a dark cloud almost shrouds them as they began to march.

but... as I looked into that army, I could pick out human solders... there was something greater in evil that anyone has mentioned to me that I could sense... I already knew that there were many more mysteries and horrors to be unlocked in this war.

[and we have learned more from what Kate has been up to! and I hope I have shed summore light on my great story plot to you guys... but let me tell ya, this is just the tip of the iceberg. and I wonder what the others are doing? there is going to be blood staining the great lands of Smangladore and more lands that can be counted before this story ends.]
